The Iowa Energy Center provided a demonstration grant for the construction of two grid-connected photovoltaic systems.
A stationary system is located at the Energy Center’s main office in Ames. The string of three systems has an installed capacity of 4.59 kW, and is attached directly to a south-facing roof at a slope of 37 degrees.
