 Cut your fuel costs; consider potential steam system improvements in your plant

AMES - TAP Your Steam System Training is an exciting two course series designed to promote industrial and commercial steam system knowledge, understanding and efficiency, emphasize positive effects on production, efficiency gains, safety, energy costs and overall operational savings. Each course in the series, Level One and Two, are offered as single day programs.
TAP training is presented by Plant Support and Evaluations (PSE), with instructor Kelley Paffel. Attendees work in a team environment to accomplish a host of steam systems energy related tasks. These specialized steam system training programs are designed for facility managers, plant engineers, plant supervisors and individuals looking for more knowledge of steam systems and interested in saving money, energy and increasing steam system reliability.
Level One is offered in Cedar Rapids on December 4 and in Des Moines on December 5. Level Two training is offered in Des Moines on December 6.
The course qualifies for continuing education units from Iowa State University. TAP Your Steam Training is $300 for each level, or $500 if you register for both courses. Industrial/Commercial clients of Alliant Energy and MidAmerican Energy Company may qualify for a discount–be sure to inquire with your utility.
