The Iowa Energy Center turns 20!
The framers of the Iowa Energy Efficiency act formed the Iowa Energy Center in 1990 and determined that the Center would “conduct and sponsor research related to energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy education and demonstration.” Twenty years later, the Iowa Energy Center continues to follow this mandate.
To celebrate the Center’s achievements and Iowa’s progress in renewable energy and energy efficiency, we will be planning a 20th anniversary conference. To find out how you can be a part of this important milestone, please contact Kathleen Harrison, communications manager.
