Painting 2000: A Guide for the Control, Reduction and Elimination of Volatile Organic Compound Emissions in Industrial Painting ApplicationsAdditional InformationIn the period 1994 to 1996, the Iowa Energy Center funded a series of Total Assessment Audits in Iowa industry. The purpose of these audits was to explore ways to help Iowa's manufacturers identify and address process, environmental and energy problems that are a drain on their competitiveness. A significant number of these audits revealed that there was a great deal of uncertainty about how to best meet increasing regulatory demands to reduce Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) while meeting the quality demands of customers. As a result of these findings, this guide has been prepared to help Iowa industry address these concerns.
